Honoyo Imai

Honoyo Imai is a Japanese hat designer based in Tokyo.
She is a director of her own brand ‘honoyo’, designing, processing and bringing her unique inspiration into world.
She creates her work not only being ‘hats’ but having a theme of anything around a head.She uses various material such as metal or paper.
Every single idea and inspiration come from where she lives-Tokyo.
She currently working in Tokyo and participates in several trade shows such as Premiere Class in Paris and Cupsel in NY. Also offering haute couture and costumes.

帽子デザイナー　今井ほのよ

2009年ロンドンの芸術大学Central Saint Martins 舞台美術科卒業。
日本に帰国後honoyo レーベル立ち上げる。
2012年世界のコンテスト’The Hat Designer of the Year 2012‘にて和紙で帽子制作した’OMIKUJI‘の作品で高い評価を受け優勝。
後、パリで行われる展示会Premiere ClasseやNYで開催のCupselに複数回出展。
現在はコレクションを制作、展示会出展と共に、オートクチュール制作や衣装提供も行っている。
